Student discount: 30% off the annual plan with verification is planned draft. Details once the verification partner is chosen.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and are managed in your Apple Account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe. The Semester Pass is a one-time purchase and never renews. The App Store shows prices in your local currency; the figures here are drafts in US dollars.

Questions about paying
Why is cloud AI the paid part?
Because it is the part that costs us money every time you use it. The scheduler, sync and import run on your phone and on your iCloud. Charging for the AI keeps the rest free without ads or tracking.
Will the study features ever go behind a paywall?
No. Studying, scheduling, import, sync, audio, manual cards, widgets, every Duo feature and Study Buddy are free by design, and we have written that into the product's principles. Free is the product; Pro is an upgrade. some at launch
What are the cloud AI caps?
Pro includes, per month, on the order of 200 note or text jobs, 30 PDF chapters, 300 long explanations and 100 photos. The exact numbers are set at launch. If you approach a cap the app says so and offers the on-device path; it never blocks you without a message. on-device path at launch
Can I try Pro?
Everyone gets 10 cloud AI jobs in their first 30 days. The annual plan comes with a seven-day free trial.
Is there a lifetime option?
Not at launch. We are considering a lifetime Pro without cloud AI once we know what the AI costs. The Semester Pass is the pay-once option today.
How do I cancel?
In Settings on your iPhone, under your Apple Account, Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for. The Semester Pass needs no cancelling: it ends on its own.
Do you offer refunds?
Purchases are made through Apple, and Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong on our side, write to us and we will help.
